The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secon-dary Education (MSBSHSE) released a statement saying that supplementary exams for students who failed to clear the HSC exams conducted in March 2016 would be held in July instead of September-October. Board authorities have requested students, parents and school authorities to note that no supplementary exams would be conducted for HSC in September-October from this year. However, as per an announcement by the state education minister, the marksheets this year would not mention students as failed, but say ‘passed for July supplementary exams’ to avoid loss of another academic year. Students can fill the online forms between May 30 and June 9 and the fees can be paid from June 10-14. Students willing to apply for the Class Improvement Scheme would have a chance to appear in the exams in July and also in February-March next year.
