However, this one fan of MS Dhoni by the name of Ajay Gill has literally gone the extra mile to meet Dhoni. Ajay Gill, who is 18-years-old, walked 1,400 km from his village Jalan Kheda in the Hisar district of Haryana to meet Dhoni in the Jharkhand capital Ranchi. According to Gill, he wanted to meet Dhoni just for 10 minutes for which he walked for 16 days since July 29. However, Dhoni is not in Ranchi currently and is with the CSK squad for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL). Such is Dhoni's aura and the extent to which his fans can go to just catch a glimpse of their favourite captain.
