Says Aamir Khan faction getting stronger than Farooq-led groupKARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM) Deputy Convener Kamran Tessori on Sunday announced to quit the party owing to differences with the top leadership. Tessori said he was not consulted for important party decisions despite the fact he was a senior leader of the party, which made him to part ways with MQM. Tessori resignation is not that surprising as he also did not travel to Hyderabad with the party leadership to attend a rally on Sunday. Tessori also contested PP-114 by-election against Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) candidate Saeed Ghani, in which he only managed to secure 18000 votes. The Aamir Khan group consist of Faisal Sabzwari, Khwaja Izhar, and others; while Kamran Tessori, Kanwar Naveed Jameel, and Khwaja Sohail Mansoor were in Dr Sattar’s faction, Baloch had said following his expulsion from the party.
