Teso South Member of Parliament Mary Emaase was on Wednesday grilled by police officers over a clip advocating for the employment of teachers in the area. Police summoned her to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations for grilling into a probe of several offences they are pursuing. In the clip, Emaase is heard talking about a teachers' recruitment in the area that was to take place on August 1 and 2. "I would like to announce to members of Teso South that there is a recruitment of teachers who are to be employed. If you also know that you applied yet you are not a member of Teso South, do not even dare to turn up.
