Chief Judicial Magistrate Sonchita Biswas fixed the hearing date yesterday. Earlier in the day, police produced them before the court with a 7-day remand plea to question them in the case filed over the MP murder. On Wednesday night, a team of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested Ashraful Islam, son of Sundarganj upazila unit Jamaat chief Hazi Yunus and Jahirul Islam from Dhaka’s Badda area. Meanwhile, police arrested two more Jammat men from Sundarganj in this connection. On December 31 last year, the ruling party lawmaker was shot at point blank range in his village home in Masterpara of Sundarganj Upazila.
