MP: Jubilee Party must foster equity in national appointments

As the country’s largest political outfit, Jubilee Party, gears up for a major launch, an MP from Nakuru maintains it should realign itself to equity in sharing of the national cake. He says the new Jubilee Party to be launched in June must be dedicated to equal distribution of appointments of parastatal heads and other government entities. Bungoma Senator and Cord co-principal Moses Wetangula is on the record stating that most of the national appointments have bordered on President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Kikuyu and his deputy William Ruto's Kalenjin tribes. A section of concerned parties drawn from both the political divide have been expressing their discontentment on how national appointments have been made. Njoro MP Joseph Kiuna says equity across the eight regions of the country has been a bone of contention pitting the government's drive to enhance proper servicemanship.
