On Aug 18 this year, she attended the Social Security Organisation (Socso) PenjanaKerjaya Career Carnival in Melaka, where she learnt about the MYFutureJobs portal and applied for a job. Wee said the employer received RM1,000 in government aid for each PWD worker for six months under the National Economic Recovery Plan’s (Penjana) Hiring Incentive programme. MYFutureJobs, which is the Human Resources Ministry’s national employment services portal, serves both job seekers and employers. The portal provides employment options for job seekers, while employers can seek suitable candidates with the skills that match the job. Santhiyiah said the centre recently employed three people and received government financial aid via the Hiring Incentive programme.
