Mahatma Gandhi University has plans to roll out a comprehensive examination monitoring software that would cut delays and step up efficiency of the system using online tools. The proposed software, which aims at integrating all examination-related works and services online, is expected to be ready in six months. From registration of a student to online evaluation of answer scripts, the software system is expected to streamline the processes involved digitally. The varsity plans to start the online evaluation of answer scripts using the software in the first phase of implementation. The evaluators can access the answer scripts as per the rules prescribed by the varsity using a special ID and password, he said.
