MCE Holdings' new contract from Perodua generates RM33m revenue over seven years


KUALA LUMPUR: MCE Holdings Bhd through its subsidiary MultiCode Electronics Industries (M) Bhd has secured contracts to supply various electronic and mechatronic components and parts for Perodua new car models. In an exchange filing today, MCE said the projects are expected to generate a total revenue of about RM33 million over the seven-year period with an estimated total investment cost is RM1 million. “The supply of these parts is expected to commence in the fourth-quarter of the financial year ending July 31, 2018,” it noted. MCE said the projects are expected to contribute positively to its earnings over a seven-year period from the first quarter of financial year ending July 31, 2019.
