PUTRAJAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) today arrested a Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) senior officer over alleged power abuse. The 41-year-old man, said to be a senior general manager at the human resources department, was found to have allegedly abused his position to approve some RM80,000 allocation for skin and slimming treatment for himself. In a statement earlier, the commission said he was arrested at his home in Bandar Tun Razak, Cheras about 11am today. The suspect was appointed as the division's general manager in Jan, 2015 before being promoted again as senior manager in Dec, the same year, it added. The suspect is expected to be brought to Putrajaya magistrate's court for application of remand.
