Then, the doctor broke the news: he had a form of testicular cancer. While testicular cancer has a high survival rate - 98 percent for the first diagnosis and 96 percent if the cancer returns - it can leave a path of destruction. His specialist reluctantly agreed to delay surgery by a week so Nic could complete filming for MAFS.
