PUTRAJAYA: Part of investigations into Felda Investment Corporation's (FIC) purchase of a hotel in London have to be carried out overseas and this takes time to complete. Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) deputy chief commissioner (operations) Datuk Azam Baki said the investigating team has to go abroad to take statements from witnesses. Azam said the investigating team has to identify witnesses, including Malaysians and foreigners. Azam said while the probe into the London hotel will take awhile, the MACC could wrap up its investigations into the Kuching case earlier. “The Kuching case is still being investigated.
