The aircraft arrived at 11.45am and touched down at 12.05pm here at the Hangar 6 of the MAS Engineering Complex here. Upon touchdown, the aircraft was given a water salute ceremony by the airlines staff. The water salute is a symbolic gesture for a first flight or first frequency, which have been practiced since 2002. Members of the public view the new Malaysia Airlines Airbus A350 plane after it landed at Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Sepang. Izham said A350 XWB will operate the Kuala Lumpur to London service beginning Jan 15, next year.
