TUMPAT: The government will add more assets such as boat and other necessities when the situation calls for it. Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim said at the moment, all assets were sufficient to cope up with the situation in the state. The government is also looking into buying new boats and other items that we feel that are essential during the floods. On the issue of some flood victims refusing to move to the relief centres, Shahidan said the relevant authorities will do their best to coax them. "If they still refuse to go to the flood relief centres, I personally will persuade them to leave their homes," he said.
