Food safety authoriities have realled a Marks & Spenser branded Thai red chicken curry made in the United Kingdom, citing milk, an allergen, that had not been declared on the food label. The Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department said the importer Alf Retail Hong Kong, has stopped the sale of the 380 gram pack of Balanced For You Red Thai Chicken Curry, and removed it from shelves. The center said that through its Food Incident Surveillance System, it noted notices issued by the Food Standards Agency of the UK and the Food Safety Authority of Ireland that the product is under recall because it may contain milk but the ingredient is undeclared on the food label," a spokesman for the CFS said. The public may call the hotline at 3656 2253 during office hours.
