GEORGE TOWN: A four-piece family band from Penang has been turning heads in China after they were invited to appear in several variety shows in the country. Formed in 2015, the KOZYY family rock band from Bukit Jambul recently appeared on the Our Chinese Heart show, which featured various artistes from around the world. The lead singer of the band is 10-year-old Zheng Yao. Ong said in 2016, the family was recognised by The Malaysia Book of Records as the “First Family Perfor­mance Band”. Zheng Yao was the youngest Malaysian to be selected for the China Sing!
