PETALING JAYA: The audience at the first ever Kindness Concert were left in tears as they watched moving stories of the country’s kindest students, teachers, principals, and school staff. Videos highlighting the winners’ incredible acts of kindness were played, drawing standing ovations from the crowd. The first round of applause was given to SK Jalan Empat principal Ainon Mohamed Salehuddin, who won the Kindest Principal Award for visiting troubled students at home and personally greeting students at the gate every morning. “This award is for the school, because I am not running the show alone,” she added. #StandTogether celebrity ambassador Lisa Surihani said she was moved by security guard Norizan Mamat, also from SK Jalan Empat, who received the Kindest School Staff award.
