BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — Lukas Vejdemo scored the first of three unanswered goals in the third period for Laval as the Rocket went on to beat the Binghamton Devils 5-2 on Saturday in American Hockey League play. Alex Belzile and Daniel Audette also scored in the third for the Rocket (21-23-8) while Morgan Adams-Moisan and Alexandre Grenier added the others. Tariq Hammond and Nathan Bastian hit the scoresheet for the Devils (23-26-5) to make it 2-2 after 40 minutes. Michael McNiven made 22 saves for the win as Mackenzie Blackwood stopped 17-of-21 shots in a losing cause. Laval went 0 for 1 on the power play while Binghamton was 0 for 2.
