London's arenas and community centres will soon have naloxone spray

London is set to become the second city in Ontario to put naloxone nasal spray in its city-run facilities. A pilot project, to be approved by politicians this week, will see the life-saving drug in 29 city-run arenas and community centres starting in June. This is certainly something we have to deal with," said Scott Stafford, London's managing director of parks and recreation. The city of Kingston put naloxone spray in its city facilities, including recreation centres, museums, city hall and arenas, last year. Automatic external defibrillators can and have been used in city facilities to help people having heart attacks.
