With new intercontinental and European routes, the summer schedule includes expanded and new connections through Lufthansa Airlines, Discover Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Swiss International Air Lines, and Edelweiss. Munich Hub: Discover Airlines will expand its North American service with new routes from Munich to Calgary, Canada, and Orlando, USA. These new international flights are aimed at bringing several new long-haul connections across Lufthansa Group’s offerings, particularly in North America and Africa. This expansion will broaden Lufthansa Group’s reach within Europe in a move to serve popular summer spots and unique destinations. With the introduction of new long-haul as well as European routes and the return of the A380, the Group aims to further strengthen its position in the global aviation market.
