An Indiana University cheerleader was raised high by a fellow cheerleader to retrieve a basketball that became wedged behind a backboard during a March Madness game against Saint Mary’s at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon, on March 17.This video, taken by Krishna Pakala, shows one cheerleader hold up another by her feet, allowing her to reach up and rescue the basketball stuck between the shot clock and the backboard.Speaking to Storyful, Pakala said the referee had tried to use a chair and a floor mop to retrieve the ball before the cheerleaders stepped in to help.“It was the BEST moment of the whole day,” Pakala added.
