Vaccinator Rebekah Elliot gives another does of the vaccine at Palmerston North's drive-through centre. Palmerston North is getting its first low-sensory clinic to help everyone access the Covid-19 vaccine. The clinic aims to support those with autism, foetal alcohol spectrum disorders, sensory processing Disorders, ADHD and related disorders. It will be at the Milson Community Centre on Thursday, September 16, and will have lower-lighting and be much quieter than other vaccination clinics. Patients are welcome to bring people, items or devices that could provide support during the appointment, like headphones, ipads or fidget toys.
