A bride who had to cancel her wedding four times due to Covid enjoyed the day of a lifetime when a generous lottery winner arrived in a top of the range Bentley to take her to the ceremony. Erika Witheridge-Towers, 24, from Truro, Cornwall, decided to organise her wedding in just four days after becoming fed up with postponements, and thought she would have to settle for her father's old Audi. So she was delighted to step out on her wedding day and find £13m Lotto jackpot winner Peter Congdon waiting in his red Bentley Continental Convertible to whisk her to the four-star Alverton Hotel. Ms Witheridge-Towers told the Mirror: 'I couldn't believe my eyes when I stepped outside in my wedding dress to see Peter and his Bentley. Mr Congdon, who won £13m in May 2015, said he 'jumped at the chance' to help her out.
