Lorry driver suffers heart attack on Penang bridge - Nation

GEORGE TOWN: Traffic came to a crawl on the Penang Bridge Saturday afternoon after a lorry driver suffered a heart attack as he was going across it. The traffic jam began from the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway all the way to the bridge. It is learnt that the incident occurred at KM6.3 of the Bridge mainland-bound, after a 46-year-old lorry driver suffered a heart attack behind the wheel and passed out. With no one controlling the lorry, the vehicle backed into a taxi behind, crushing the front portion of the white-coloured cab. George Town OCPD Asst Comm Anuar Omar said that the lorry driver died at the emergency ward at the Seberang Jaya Hospital.
