Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun said they had brought forward several proposals to strengthen matters related to innovation and technologies. On whether there was a specific wish list under 2018 Budget for Eastern Sabah Security Command to counter kidnapping and militancy threat, Fuzi said these security matters were given priority attention. Meanwhile, Army Chief General Tan Sri Raja Mohamed Affandi Raja Mohamed Noor said the army is expecting a “very good” budget as to keep the readiness of the armed forces at a very acceptable level. Fuzi and Raja Mohamed Affandi were in the state to receive their Seri Panglima Darjah Kinabalu (SPDK), which carries “Datuk Seri” title.
