KAJANG: A lorry driver was burnt to death after his vehicle burst into flames following a collision with another lorry near KM302.7 of the Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Highway. Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Ahmad Dzaffir Yusoff said the incident occurred at 3.12am on Saturday. Initial investigations revealed that a lorry transporting rubber wood was heading from Kuala Lipis to Nilai when it suddenly switched lanes from the left to the middle. "The driver of the second lorry travelling in the middle lane could not avoid it and smashed into the rear end of the first lorry and caught fire," he said on Saturday. ACP Ahmad Dzaffir said firemen managed to extricate the body, which was sent to Serdang Hospital for post-mortem.
