"Thailand has mixed nationalities, from which we can learn consumer behaviour before expanding our stores in Southeast Asia," he said. The Japanese supermarket chain was founded in 1971 and now operates 139 branches across Japan, nine in Taiwan, and one in Thailand. Thailand is the second country outside Japan and the first in Southeast Asia to host a Lopia store.
