A longtime freelance photojournalist working for The Canadian Press was arrested while reporting on the clearing of an encampment at Toronto’s Alexandra Park on Tuesday. An early press release from the city said around two dozen people had been living in the encampment. According to The Canadian Press, he was however issued a notice of trespass, which prohibits him from returning to the park for 90 days. Toronto police also said nine people were arrested at the park, seven of them for trespassing. They added anyone who refused to leave the park could be charged and arrested.
