Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Toronto and parts of the GTA on Tuesday afternoon. The agency also warns that severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. The Northern Tornadoes Project says five different tornadoes hit southern Ontario last week. The severe thunderstorm watch comes on the heels of a poor air quality warning issued Tuesday morning.
