JOHOR BARU: Restaurants here are expecting to see business flourish further starting this weekend with the Hari Raya and Labour Day holidays falling close to each other. Many are also expecting to see an exodus of Singaporean visitors making a stop in Johor Baru starting Friday night. “Heavy traffic is almost everywhere in Johor Baru these days and many Singaporean-registered cars can be spotted. “I believe we will see more of them coming from this weekend until the first or second day of Hari Raya,” he said. “Locals are also expected to take advantage of the long holidays to spend time with their friends and family in Johor Baru,” he said.
