The Maple Leafs injured list seems to get longer by the day, with both defenceman Jake Muzzin and rookie winger Ilya Mikheyev suffering significant setbacks in Friday’s game against the New Jersey Devils. Muzzin will be out “week to week” with a broken foot, suffered blocking a shot in the first period. “It's a tough loss for us, of course, and we feel for him,” said Leafs coach Sheldon Keefe. “He's a warrior so you know we're going to miss him out there but hopefully he'll be back soon.”Captain John Tavares agreed. Maple Leafs Hall of Fame defenceman Borje Salming also took a skate to his face in 1986 that required more than 200 stitches to repair.
