Lok Sabha elections 2019: Foreign delegates will visit Gurugram for an overview of general elections


Ahead of the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha election to be held in Haryana on May 12, a 10-member foreign delegation from Japan, Australia and Bangladesh will visit Gurugram to get an overview of the election process in India. On the day of election, the team will visit polling booths in various parts of Gurugram. We are proud that the Election Commission of India selected Gurugram to showcase the election activity to the foreign delegates,” Amit Khatri, deputy commissioner of Gurugram and district election officer, said. Additionally, eight pink booths will be managed by all women team of officers, workers, micro observers, and security personnel. At Government Girls College in Sector 14, the second pilot rehearsal was conducted with presiding officers of Gurugram and Badshahpur.
