Two ISC toppers hit a 100

Bengaluru’s Vibha Swaminathan and Kolkata’s Dewang Kumar Agarwal have set a record by becoming the first students to score a perfect 100% in the Indian School Certificate (ISC) examinations. For the first time in its 61-year history, the CISCE will introduce compartmental examinations for unsuccessful candidates at both the ICSE and ISC levels. Students who meet the criteria for compartmental examinations will have a statement on their marksheets declaring them eligible, said Mr. Arathoon. The compartmental examinations will be held on July 15, 16 and 17 and the results will be declared on August 5. Girls outshone boys in both the ICSE and ISC examinations.
