Morning walkers are affected the most with filth strewn around the footpaths as local residents have to deal with regular brawls till late nights. The Nariman Point Churchgate Citizens Association (NPCCA) has raised concerns about an increasing number of vagrants on the South Mumbai footpaths. Residents claimed that despite informing the civic body and police several times, their requests have fallen on deaf ears. "The vagrants indulge in drug abuse, and late night brawls, and petty thefts, which should be curbed," said a Marine Drive resident.
