The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) index surged further by 171.02 points, or 2.27 percent, to close at 7,703.92 although the Mining and Oil sector retreated. Trading volume improved tot 1.26 billion shares worth P11.49 billion. It noted that, “the real flows should reappear sometime in the first quarter of 2019, especially if we see inflation improving throughout the months.”
