Local community based project to hold first Arts Collective DayA community based project in Edenderry will hold its first Arts Collective Day in the town this weekend to help develop artistic activities there. Creative Places, Edenderry is excited to be running their first 'Arts Collective Day' this Saturday, February 10 at The Parish Centre, Edenderry from 10am to 4pm. There will be opportunities to take part in four different workshops; Creative Crafts with Jenny Bergin, Dance workshops with Yolanda Rodriguez from Retox Dance, Playwriting with John Gorgan or Music with Angi Wards. Creative Places, Edenderry is a three-year community based project to connect, create and develop artistic and cultural activities to enhance the community engagement and spirit within the area. It is supported by Creative Lives, Creative Edenderry, Arts Council Ireland, Offaly County Council and North Offaly Community Development Network.
