JOHOR BARU: A kindergarten teacher is living in fear after loan sharks looking for her teenage son broke into her home and vandalised it. She believes her son owed the loan sharks at least RM100,000. “The loan sharks have come to my house and splashed red paint and even threatened us, asking to pay up the loan,” she said. Teoh appealed to the loan sharks to leave the women and their families alone, as they were not the borrowers. He said the number of cases involving those borrowing from loan sharks was on the rise.
