He was gunned down at roughly 8pm today and was pronounced dead at the scene. People in the area reportedly heard three shots being fired at the time of the incident, but this has not been confirmed by police. Less than an hour earlier, in a separate incident, a man, also in his 30s, was shot in the leg in Prenton, a suburb of Birkenhead.
