Liverpool legend Steve Nicol admits he is surprised Sadio Mane has, in his view, overtaken Mohamed Salah as the Reds’ most important attacker. However, Mane is ahead of Salah in the running for the PFA Player of the Year award this season. And he admits he did not expect Mane to “eclipse” Salah like he has.
