Liverpool could solve several of their issues by pouncing on the availability of Raphael Guerreiro. Guerreiro was key in Dortmund mounting a title charge this season – that ultimately fell at the final hurdle after failing to match or better the result of Bayern Munich. The ex-Lorient star scored four and assisted 12 in 27 league appearances for the club, capturing the attention of several sides. Bayern and Atletico Madrid have both been linked with Guerreiro, though a move to the Premier League could prove persuasive if offers arrive. It is no secret that the Reds are hoping to shake up their ranks this summer, and Guerreiro’s ability to play in central midfield and also in left-back could prove incredibly persuasive and enable funds to be used elsewhere.
