Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp reportedly wants a transfer pursuit of Manu Kone to be prioritised after the Reds confirmed the signing of Alexis Mac Allister. Klopp remains keen to continue strengthening his midfield and supposedly believes the Borussia Monchengladbach starlet should be targeted next. Several key midfielders struggled for form last season, while long-serving players James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all departed. Mac Allister’s arrival was confirmed last week but Liverpool want to keep adding to Klopp’s midfield options. Kone supposedly tops a three-man shortlist alongside Mason Mount and Bayern Munich’s Ryan Gravenberch.
