The Reds missed out to City by just a single point as Pep Guardiola's side won a second straight title. It has left Liverpool still waiting to end their 29-year title drought as they enter the new season with high hopes. Klopp said: "We're completely focused on Liverpool, although I heard the Premier League made a change because last season was so close with points. "It would be great if we can be close to them (Man City) again, it's clear they are big favourites again. "No one can take away that we won the Champions League but it will not help us in the league this season."
