Tchouameni is currently in his third season at Madrid following his move from Monaco in a €100 million (£85.3m) deal in June 2022. According to Sacha Tavolieri, Madrid are open to selling Tchouameni and Liverpool have been in contact with the midfielder’s representatives to gauge his interest in a move to Anfield. Elsewhere, Marca reports that Madrid are stepping up their push to sign a new right-back in January following the team’s defeats to Barcelona and Milan. Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is out of contract at the end of the season, is Madrid’s first-choice target.
