Jurgen Klopp is ambitiously targeting Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas and is reportedly willing to take on Manchester United for his services in the summer. Spain’s Fabregas is valued at about £30m yet is surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge. While the 29-year-old appears happy enough to be used off the bench by Antonio Conte, he is attracting interest from throughout Europe. The Express claim Liverpool are the latest to the party and Chelsea and the player - who is said to not want to go to potential suitors in Italy - could be open to it.
