Ilya Kovalchuk’s first goal as a Hab couldn’t have come at a better time. The Russian’s overtime winner gave the Canadiens a 2-1 overtime victory over the Ottawa Senators Saturday night at the Canadian Tire Centre. Nick Suzuki also scored for Montreal. Drake Batherson scored Ottawa’s lone goal in the overtime loss.
