Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has cautioned leaders against taking the country back to the days when politics of ethnicity were commonplace. Mudavadi called for the need to rise above petty regional, tribal and ethnic formations to build a united country. He affirmed that the 2022 General Elections paved the way for a new dawn in the country's politics. Mudavadi’s remarks come hot on the heels of the Limuru III meeting that brought together professionals and businessmen from Mt. During the meeting, leaders resolved to retain former President Uhuru Kenyatta as the region’s kingpin to chart a way forward ahead of the 2027 General Election.
