Hong Kong is preparing to report another day of triple-digit coronavirus infections. On Sunday there were 108 virus patients with 68 locally-infected, following 68 on July 18 (60 locally-infected), and 58 on July 17 (50 locally-infected), in the latest flare-up. As the number of patients increased, Professor Yuen Kwok-yung suggested a limited lockdown, earlier today. “We might possibly need to lock down, not a lockdown of the whole city, but... close to a lockdown,” Yuen told a Commercial Radio program, RTHK reports. Yuen said the surge can also be linked to Hong Kong people “underestimating the enemy.”Yuen said people were more lax this time compared with their approach early this year when the first and second wave of coronavirus patients emerged.
