Commissioners of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) have elected Commissioner Christian Robert Lim the Officer-in-Charge of the poll body. This comes, as they await the appointment of President Rodrigo Duterte of a new COMELEC chairman following the resignation of Andres Bautista. During an en banc session on Tuesday, the COMELEC unanimously voted to give Lim the temporary position. The news came from COMELEC Spokesperson James Jimenez. Lim is the most senior member of the panel.
