Cameras are preparing to roll on The Last Duel, the Ridley Scott film that led to actor Matt Damon spending lockdown in Dublin, as the Irish film industry starts shooting again following months without any production. The Last Duel, which co-stars Damon, Ben Affleck, Jodie Comer and Adam Driver, is in pre-production with filming expected to start at the end of the month. The plug was pulled on the movie days before it was due to commence shooting in Ireland in March. While most of the cast flew home, Damon and his family stayed in Dalkey for three months and became the focus of national fascination. Valhalla, a spin-off from the Vikings TV series, is expected to begin filming in Wicklow this month.
