Norfolk Screen has been awarded a two-year contract to become the official film office for the county. The Norfolk Film Office pilot programme will proactively promote the county and its assets as a location for TV and film productions, with the combined spend by film and high-end television production in the UK reaching a record £6.27 billion in 2022. It is hoped that if an increase in economic activity for the county via additional filming activity happens during the pilot, it will confirm the viability of a stand-alone film office in Norfolk.
